Germany is one of the first countries in the world to publish a national policy strategy for the bioeconomy. This strategy was prepared under the direction of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture for implementation across policy areas. The guiding ideas, strategic approaches and measures of the strategy are intended to help exploit the potential of the bioeconomy in Germany within the framework of sustainable management.
