Life Science Innovation – Trends in Single Cell Analysis #2

With ‘Trends in Single Cell Analysis #2’ we will continue the event format ‘Life Science Innovation’, which provides insights into innovative research topics and current developments in Dusseldorf and NRW.

Single cell analysis allows the generation of comprehensive and precise data on the molecular composition and functional potential of individual cells. Precision medicine and targeted therapies as well as liquid biopsy and single cell analytics are the focus of current translational research. These technologies offer great potential not only for basic research, but also for medical and biotechnological applications.

This webinar’s topic will be the application of diagnostic leukapheresis (DLA) – a technology developed in Duesseldorf. DLA enables the clinically safe recovery of large numbers of viable and intact circulating tumor cell (CTC) populations from cancer patients, facilitating their comprehensive molecular and functional cancer cell characterization.

The invited speakers from academia and companies will give an overview on the use of DLA and CTCs in clinical and translational CTC-research.
