CLIB, der Cluster Industrielle Biotechnologie, wird 2024 zum 13. Mal seine CLIB International Conference (CIC) ausrichten. Vom 21. bis 22. Februar 2024 wird die CIC2024 in Düsseldorf unter dem Titel “Biomanufacturing a greener future” stattfinden.

Wie wird Biomanufacturing unsere Industrie und unsere Art zu produzieren verändern? Wie kann Biomanufacturing heute und künftig Innovationen zugänglich machen, zur Biologisierung von Industrien beitragen und so neue Wertschöpfung generieren? Wie können hierdurch positive Beiträge zu den Herausforderungen des Klimawandels geleistet werden? Zusammen mit den Teilnehmer:innen, wird CLIB diese und weitere Fragen erörtern und aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven beleuchten.

Folgende Sessions erwarten Sie:

  • From thin air to solid value: using C1 feedstocks
  • Implementing biomanufacturing: national or international effort?
  • A tasty future: biotechnology for sustainable foods
  • Closing the loop: designing circular products

Es werden über 180 Teilnehmer:innen erwartet, darunter Vertreter:innen aus der Industrie, zahlreiche nationale und internationale KMU, Forschungseinrichtungen und Interessenvertreter aus Politik und Verbänden. Die CIC wird nicht nur das Konferenzjahr 2024 eröffnen, sondern – wie jedes Jahr – auch Raum bieten, um Partnerschaften innerhalb von Wertschöpfungsnetzen in der Bioökonomie und Kreislaufwirtschaft zu initiieren.

CLIB, the cluster industrial biotechnology, will host their CLIB International Conference (CIC) for the 13th time in 2024. From 21 to 22 February 2024, the CIC2024 will be hosted in Düsseldorf under the title “Biomanufacturing a greener future”.

How is biomanufacturing going to change our industry and the way we produce? Which innovations can biomanufacturing make accessible today and in the future? How will it contribute to the biologisation of industries and thus generate new added value? Can it help to meet the challenges of climate change? Together with all participants, CLIB will discuss these and other questions and examine them from different perspectives.

More than 180 participants are expected, including representatives from industry, numerous national and international SMEs, research institutions, and stakeholders from politics and associations. The CIC will not only kick off the conference year 2024, but – as always – will also provide space to initiate partnerships within value networks in the bioeconomy and circular economy.
