Bio-based materials are the future of the textile sector. Numerous members of the BIOTEXFUTURE innovation space have been implementing research projects on this topic for the last three years. Their common vision is to convert crude-oil based value chain to a bio-based.

We are looking forward to meeting you on 3rd May 2023 in Aachen at the BIOTEXFUTURE Spring Forum 2023 and to discussing challenges and possible solutions from the German textile research institutes and cooperation partners.

BIOTEXFUTURE is part of the BMBF’s National Research Strategy Bioeconomy 2030. The innovation space is organised in cooperation with adidas, ITA – Institut für Textiltechnik of RWTH Aachen University and Chair of Sociology of Technology and Organization (STO), of RWTH Aachen University.
