A Bioeconomy Ventures Expand&Explore Event and MPowerBIO Training and Pitching Competition
Join the SME & Start-up Pitch Event @ CLIB if you are active in the bio-based industry sector and want to improve your contacts with investors. This is a Bioeconomy Ventures Expand&Explore Event and MPowerBIO Training and Pitching Competition, split over two events.
Training event, online on 18 August
- a dry run for your pitch
- get individual feedback from investment experts
Pitching competition, in Düsseldorf on 25 August
- hear a keynote from a biotech industry and investment expert
- pitch your start-up or project idea and secure a spot at the TechTour Bioeconomy 2022 event – supported by a 250 EUR travel grant
- build your investor network (participation confirmed by b.value, Capricorn Partners, Henkel Tech Ventures, and Sofinnova Partners)
- meet other start-ups
You can join one or both of these two events individually.
The three best SMEs pitching in the competition will have the chance to pitch at the MPowerBIO Final Pitching Competition “TechTour Bioeconomy 2022” on 05 October in Wuppertal, Germany. They will receive an award of 250 EUR towards travel costs. In addition, three SMEs will be retained on a reserve list.
Application is open for European SMEs active in the bio-based industry sector until 01 August. A limited number of spots is available. The short application will ask for some information about your product or process, including technology readiness level (TRL), targeted markets, and your technology. Registrations will be confirmed after an eligibility check on a first come first serve basis.
