We are looking forward to our keynote speaker, molecular biologist and science communicator David Spencer. He holds a PhD in molecular plant physiology from RWTH Aachen University. Besides his research, he is a YouTuber, science slammer and author in the field of sustainable agriculture. His book “Alles bio – logisch?!” was published in spring 2022. In the same year, Spencer received the SciComm Award from the German Botanical Society. He also continues to skilfully drive the discourse on modern plant breeding in Germany as a centre of science.

At Biotech Beats, this enterprising communicator will brilliantly open our event in late summer – or early autumn.
