Organisationskosten:

NRW.Global Business and BIO.NRW are organizing a biotech company trip to Singapore and Malaysia as part of the Asia Bio Partnering Forum. The trip is an opportunity to get to know the biotechnology ecosystems of both countries and to make contacts.

Singapore has developed into one of the leading biotechnology centers in Asia. The city-state offers excellent infrastructure, high research intensity and strong government support. The focus is on the following areas:

• Research and development: Numerous research institutions and universities are working on innovative biotechnological solutions, particularly in medicine and agro-biotechnology and food biotechnology.
• Pharmaceutical industry: Singapore is home to many multinational pharmaceutical companies and offers a dynamic environment for clinical trials and the development of new therapies.
• Startup ecosystem: A vibrant startup scene promotes creative ideas and solutions in the field of biotechnology.

Malaysia offers a growing and diverse biotechnology landscape characterized by strategic investments and an increasing number of biotech start-ups. Key factors are:

• Diverse areas of application: Malaysia is focusing on various areas of medical biotechnology, from agricultural biotechnology to environmental biotechnology.
• Government support: The Malaysian government supports biotechnology to drive growth and innovation in the sector.
• International cooperation: Malaysia seeks active partnerships with international companies and research institutions to increase knowledge exchange and innovation.

The trade mission is organized in collaboration with BIO Clustermanagement NRW GmbH and includes:

Organizational costs:

The price for participating in the business program of the company trip is Early Bird 500 euros (plus VAT) for all registrations received by May 16, 2025; after that, the standard price of 700 euros (plus VAT) applies. For each additional person from a company, 50 percent of the costs will be incurred.  Each participant is responsible for their own individual travel and accommodation costs. Hotel recommendations will be provided after registration has been confirmed. Due to limited space, NRW.Global Business, in consultation with partners, reserves the right to select participants, taking into account, among other things, the time of receipt of registration, industry affiliation and specific concerns.
