Über das Event: Das European Forum for Industrial Biotechnology & the Bioeconomy (EFIB) ist die wichtigste Konferenz in Europa, die sich mit dem wirtschaftlichen und ökologischen Beitrag von Innovation und Produktion in der industriellen Biotechnologie und der Bioökonomie für Europa beschäftigt. Die 16. Ausgabe der EFIB, organisiert durch EuropaBio gemeinsam mit den lokalen Partnern HollandBIO und ChemistryNL, widmet sich der Frage, wie die industrielle Biotechnologie und die Bioökonomie die europäische Wettbewerbsfähigkeit unterstützen. Dazu treffen sich Fachleute aus der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette, um Fortschritte zu diskutieren. Zu den Teilnehmenden gehören Unternehmen aller Größenordnungen sowie Wissenschaftler:innen, politische Entscheidungsträger:innen, Regulierungsbehörden und globale Organisationen.

Attention start-ups and entrepreneurs from North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW): BIO.NRW exclusively supports your participation in this year’s EFIB conference in Rotterdam!

Are you involved in a young enterprise from NRW or are you considering founding a start-up and would like to expand your network? EFIB 2023 is the right place to showcase your contributions to industrial biotechnology and the bioeconomy in Europe. BIO.NRW will support you in this endeavour.

BIO.NRW start-up package* for the EFIB conference 2023 in Rotterdam

• • Admission ticket for one person worth € 575
  • Promotion of your participation on social media and on the BIO.NRW website
  • Option to use the BIO.NRW stand (to distribute your flyers, showcase your logo, and leverage digital marketing options at the stand)

The number of packages is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

* for enterprises that are no older than 7 years and have fewer than 30 employees

What to expect: 2 days of conference sessions (12 sessions, more than 50 speakers), 1:1 partnering meetings, start-up hour pitches, and an exhibition where you can learn more about industrial biotechnology and the bioeconomy.

About the event: The European Forum for Industrial Biotechnology & the Bioeconomy (EFIB) is Europe’s primary conference dedicated to the economic and green contribution to Europe from innovation and manufacture within industrial biotechnology and the bioeconomy. EFIB will take place for the 16th time and is organized by EuropaBio together with the local partners HollandBIO and ChemistryNL. The event will focus on the question of how industrial biotechnology and the bioeconomy support European competitiveness, and bring together professionals from across the value chain to discuss the progress being made. Participants include enterprises of all sizes as well as scientists, policymakers, regulating authorities, and global organizations.
