CLIB glaubt fest daran, dass die Biotechnologie bereit ist, ihre Wirkung zu entfalten: Für die Transformation von Prozessen, von Industrien und unserer gesamten Wirtschaft. Aber was ist noch nötig, um das Potenzial in der Biotechnologie zu realisieren? Wie können wir nun den Schritt von der Nische zur Norm gehen? Und wie wird sich Europa im globalen Wettbewerb behaupten? Erfahren Sie mehr auf der CIC2025 am 18. und 19. Februar in Düsseldorf.
An diesen beiden Tagen werden zahlreiche renommierte Referenten und Referentinnen diese Fragen aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven beleuchten. So wird genauer betrachtet, welche Biokatalysatoren und Verfahren bereits verfügbar sind und wie sie zur Transformation unserer Industrie beitragen werden. Darüber hinaus gibt es weitere Themen mit wachsender Bedeutung: Recycling kann mit Hilfe der Biotechnologie den Zugang zu neuen Rohstoffen eröffnen und regionale Stoffkreisläufe ermöglichen. Im Bereich der Textilien eröffnen die immer strengeren Marktanforderungen neue Potenziale für die Biotechnologie.
Da die Regulierung in all diesen Bereichen eine wichtige Rolle spielt, wurde sie als Schwerpunkt der Podiumsdiskussion gewählt. Gemeinsam mit ausgewählten Experten und Expertinnen soll nicht nur aufgezeigt werden, wo Regulierung derzeit ein Hindernis darstellt, sondern auch, wie eine durchdachte Regulierung eine nachhaltige Transformation aktiv vorantreiben kann.

At CLIB, we believe biotech is ready to create impact: For the transformation of processes, of industries, and of our whole economy. But what is still needed to realise the potential we all see in biotechnology? How can we finally move from niche to norm? And how will Europe fare in global competition? Join our CIC2025 on 18 and 19 February in Düsseldorf to learn more.
During these two days, numerous renowned speakers will address these questions from different perspectives. Obviously, we will take a closer look at which biocatalysts and processes are already available and how they will contribute to the transformation of our industry. Moreover, other topics are currently emerging: With the help of biotechnology, recycling can provide access to new feedstocks and enable regional material cycles. In the field of textiles, increasingly stringent market requirements are opening up new potentials for biotechnology.
As regulation plays an important role in all these areas, we have chosen it as the focus of our panel discussion. Together with selected experts, we want to show not only where regulation is currently an obstacle, but also how a well-thought-out regulation can actively drive a sustainable transformation.
