„Revolutionärer Ansatz in der Medizin – Einsatz von Gen- und Zelltherapien made in NRW“
Zu diesem Thema tauschen sich Experten aus Akademie und Unternehmen am Montag, 11.11.2024 von 13:30 Uhr bis 15:00 Uhr im BIO.NRW-MEDICA-Forum auf dem Gemeinschaftsstand des Landes NRW in Halle 3, Stand C80 aus.
Gen- und zellbasierten Therapien haben für und in Deutschland eine große Relevanz.
Im Auftrag des Bundesministeriums für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) hat das Berlin Institut of Health (BIH) die Entwicklung einer Nationalen Strategie für gen- und zellbasierte Therapien koordiniert und moderiert.
Zu acht definierten Handlungsfeldern wurden Strategische Ziele und Maßnahmen formuliert, um neue Erkenntnisse in der Forschung zielgerichtet, effizient, finanzierbar und sicher für den Patienten in die Anwendung zu bringen. Zahlreiche Experten aus unterschiedlichen Interessengruppen waren eingeladen, um die vielfältigen Aspekte einer nationalen Strategie zu adressieren.
Das Land NRW leistet mit seiner akademischen und unternehmerischen Expertise im Bereich der Gen- und zellbasierten Therapien relevante Beiträge zur Umsetzung der deutschlandweiten Strategie. Mit dem BIO.NRW-MEDICA-Forum 2024 möchten wir besonders das Scheinwerferlicht auf einige regionale Akteure im Bereich der Gen- und Zelltherapien werfen, ohne das Große Ganze der Nationalen Strategie aus den Augen zu verlieren.
Wir laden alle Interessierten herzlich ein, auf dem BIO.NRW MEDICA-Forum mehr vom Einsatz der Gen- und Zelltherapien made in NRW zu erfahren.

“A Revolutionary Approach to Medicine – The Application of Gene and Cell Therapies made in NRW”
Experts from academia and business will discuss this topic at the BIO.NRW MEDICA-Forum on
Monday, 11 November 2024 from 13:30 to 15:00. The discussion will take place at the joint exhibition stand for the state of North Rhine-Westphalia (hall 3, stand C80).
Gene and cell therapies are hugely significant in Germany.
On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the Berlin Institute of Health (BIH) has coordinated and overseen the drafting of a National Strategy for Gene and Cell Therapies.
Strategic goals and measures were formulated in eight action areas as part of an effort to bring new research results into clinical application in a manner that is targeted, efficient, cost-effective, and safe for patients. Numerous experts from different interest groups were invited to address the various aspects of a national strategy.
The state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) is making a significant contribution to implementing the Germany-wide strategy with its academic and entrepreneurial expertise in the field of gene and cell therapies. With the BIO.NRW MEDICA-Forum 2024, we would like to shine a spotlight on a number of regional stakeholders in the field of gene and cell therapies, while maintaining a focus on the national strategy as an overarching framework.
