The Förderverein Biotechnologie NRW e.V. was founded by representatives of the North Rhine-Westphalian BioRegions, the Forschungszentrum Jülich, the Cluster Industrielle Biotechnologie CLIB2021 e.V. and committed private individuals and companies.
Biotechnology is one of the most important cross-sectional technologies of the future. With the established non-profit association, we lay the foundation for efficient further development and public relations, bundle regional activities within the federal state and ensure international visibility.
The tasks of the association include the support of young scientists, public events and the promotion of the transfer of scientific results to practical applications.
