G-BiB Competition 2020/2021 registration open

The international student competition „Global Biobased Businessplan Competition – G-BiB„ enters a new round.

Between October 2020 and February 2021, teams from Germany, Finland and the United Kingdom will have the opportunity to think beyond the academic horizon of their project and experience the economic potential of their idea.

 All students – from bachelor to PhD – are invited to participate in the competition with their idea for a biobased process or product. In addition to the chance to get to know all the international teams, the participants will receive individual training in preparing a business plan, pitching for investors, and dealing with the press. In the national semi-final, all teams will have the opportunity to pitch in front of a panel of experts consisting of investors and start-up experienced scientists and thus gain real experience in the field of start-up founding. The national winning team may not only present its idea to an international jury of experts at the international final at the CLIB International Conference on 4 and 5 February 2021, but also to the international visitors of the conference. Participants not only have the chance to win the final award, but also a large network for the further development of the business idea.
