BIO.NRW Represented at NRW Joint Exhibition Space at BIO International Convention 2022 in San Diego
The BIO International Convention took place at the San Diego Convention Center on 13–16 June 2022.
Following a hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, BIO.NRW joined forces with BIO Clustermanagement NRW GmbH and NRW.Global Business GmbH to offer all players from the biotechnology sector in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) the opportunity to present at the world’s largest international biotechnology trade fair. In addition to having a booth within the joint exhibition space, the co-exhibitors also had the opportunity to participate in Exhibitor Booth Partnering, for which two meeting rooms were provided at the exhibition space.
As well as BIO.NRW, BIO Clustermanagement NRW, and NRW.Global Business, the following companies were present at the NRW joint exhibition space in the German Pavilion:
CEVEC Pharmaceuticals GmbH (Cologne)
CMR CureDiab Metabolic Research GmbH (Düsseldorf)
Profil Institute for Metabolic Research GmbH (Neuss)
Priavoid GmbH (Düsseldorf)
SeSaM-Biotech GmbH (Aachen)
Soluventis GmbH (Bochum)
Taros Chemicals GmbH & Co. KG (Dortmund)
In addition to promoting North Rhine-Westphalia as a strong biotech location, BIO.NRW, together with Rentschler Biopharma SE, FGK Clinical Research GmbH, and Zwicker Schnappauf & Partner Patentanwälte | PartG mbB, also welcomed international trade fair participants at the NRW Biotech Networking Reception on Tuesday evening. For years, the reception has been a firm fixture in the event calendar, offering the opportunity to exchange ideas with international business partners in a relaxed atmosphere. This year, it was held at the FLOAT Rooftop Bar at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter.
The BIO International Convention is the world’s leading trade fair for biotechnology and is one of the few large trade fairs to focus on all relevant biotechnology sectors. It is organized each year by the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) at different locations in the USA.
